The Vegetable Box Scheme
With all concerns about the environment, it is important
to think about food miles, which can be a big issue
You might expect that buying locally will be more expensive,
but often it can work our cheaper - but one thing we can
guarantee is that your boxes will be fresh! |

The product whether cabbages, cauliflowers etc. will be cut from
the fields on one day and delivered to your home on the next.
How much fresher can you get?!
The vast majority of the products supplied in our boxes are grown
on the farm, seasonality will obviously have a bearing on what
is available, but we endeavour where possible to purchase produce
grown within the Yorkshire Region, if need arises. However, on
occasion we may source product from further a field, especially
fruit
We offer our commitment to provide high quality, seasonal,
local food
We aim to obtain ongoing feedback from our customers - and because
we are local we can deal with any problems that hopefully will
not occur!
We offer a comprehensive delivery service to homes in the Wakefield
District and surrounding areas. These include:
Ackworth - Castleford - Crofton - Darrington
- Featherstone - Ferrybridge - Hemsworth - Horbury - Kirk Smeaton
- Knottingley - Lofthouse - Normanton - Ossett - Pontefract -
Rothwell - South Elmsall - South Kirkby - Wakefield - Womersley
The different variety boxes available may vary
from week to week as obviously vegetables and rhubarb on the farm
are seasonal, and to keep the continuity of the boxes, it may
be necessary to bring products in
The boxes will be delivered in cardboard boxes
which can be recycled or even better we can use them again, if
you should place a second order
If a cancellation of the order is required, a
minimum of 72 hours before delivery is usually needed

The above prices include handling charges
and free delivery. However, if Box D is ordered with any of the
other box there will be a £2.00 reduction in the cost to

of the following products but will vary dependant upon the season.
